These Official Contest Rules apply to any and all contests, giveaways, promotions, random draws, social media contests, ticket giveaways, merchandise giveaways, prize promotions, and related promotional campaigns administered, sponsored, or promoted by Forrest Jones Entertainment, Inc. unless separate contest-specific rules are published.

By entering any contest operated by Forrest Jones Entertainment, Inc., entrants agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules, any contest-specific instructions, and all decisions of Forrest Jones Entertainment, Inc., which are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest.

1. CONTEST SPONSOR

Referred to in these rules as the “Sponsor,” “Forrest Jones Entertainment,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

Any contest may also be promoted in association with venues, artists, performers, ticketing platforms, media partners, sponsors, social media platforms, or promotional partners. Unless expressly stated otherwise, those parties are not responsible for administering the contest and are not liable for any matters relating to the contest.

2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

No purchase, payment, booking, ticket purchase, subscription, or paid attendance is required to enter or win any contest, unless otherwise permitted by applicable law and clearly stated in the contest-specific details.

​

A purchase will not increase an entrant’s chances of winning.

​

3. CONTEST PERIOD

Each contest will have its own start date, start time, end date, and end time, which will be stated in the contest post, promotional materials, email, website, landing page, or other contest announcement.

​

All times will be deemed to be Eastern Time unless otherwise stated.

​

Entries received before or after the stated contest period may be disqualified.

​

4. HOW TO ENTER

The method of entry will be stated in the applicable contest announcement. Entry methods may include, but are not limited to:

• Liking or commenting on a social media post;

• Following a Forrest Jones Entertainment social media page or account;

• Submitting an online entry form;

• Signing up through a contest landing page;

• Entering by email;

• Attending an eligible event or promotional activation;

• Completing another clearly stated method of entry.

 

Entrants must follow all stated entry instructions. Incomplete, late, illegible, fraudulent, duplicated, misdirected, or non-compliant entries may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Forrest Jones Entertainment.

Unless otherwise stated, there is a limit of one (1) entry per person per contest.

​

If a contest allows daily entries, bonus entries, referral entries, or multiple entry methods, those details will be stated in the contest-specific announcement.

​

Entrants may not use more than one account, identity, email address, phone number, or social media profile to enter the same contest unless expressly permitted. Any attempt to manipulate or circumvent the entry process may result in disqualification.

​

Automated, robotic, programmed, scripted, bulk, third-party, or fraudulent entry methods are prohibited.

​

5. ELIGIBILITY

Unless otherwise stated in the contest-specific announcement, contests are open only to legal residents of Ontario, Canada who are nineteen (19) years of age or older at the time of entry.

​

Entrants must have valid government-issued photo identification and may be required to provide proof of age, identity, and residency before being confirmed as a winner.

​

Employees, officers, directors, representatives, contractors, agents, and immediate family members of Forrest Jones Entertainment, Inc., its affiliated companies, promotional partners, advertising agencies, contest administrators, prize suppliers, and any other parties directly involved in the administration of the contest are not eligible to enter or win.

​

For the purposes of these rules, “immediate family” includes a spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, in-law, or any person living in the same household, whether related or not.

​

Forrest Jones Entertainment reserves the right to limit eligibility for any contest based on venue rules, age restrictions, ticketing restrictions, residency requirements, performer requirements, prize supplier rules, or any other lawful restriction.

​

6. SOCIAL MEDIA CONTESTS

Where a contest is promoted or administered through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, or any other social media platform, entrants must comply with the applicable platform’s terms of use, community standards, privacy policies, and promotion guidelines.

​

Unless otherwise stated, social media accounts used to enter must be public or accessible to Forrest Jones Entertainment for the purpose of verifying the entry.

​

Entrants must not tag people inaccurately, use fake accounts, impersonate another person, post unlawful or offensive content, or otherwise violate platform rules.

​

Any contest operated through a social media platform is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, or any other social media platform unless expressly stated.

​

By entering, entrants release all applicable social media platforms from any and all liability arising from or relating to the contest.

Entrants understand that they are providing their information to Forrest Jones Entertainment, Inc., and not to the applicable social media platform.

​

7. WINNER SELECTION

Unless otherwise stated, winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the applicable contest period.

The date, time, and method of winner selection may be stated in the contest-specific announcement.

​

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

​

Forrest Jones Entertainment may use a random selection tool, manual draw, platform-based selection method, contest software, or another fair selection process at its sole discretion.

​

8. SKILL-TESTING QUESTION

Before being declared an official winner, a selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a mathematical skill-testing question within the time period provided by Forrest Jones Entertainment.

​

Failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.

​

Forrest Jones Entertainment may then select an alternate entrant.

​

9. WINNER NOTIFICATION

Selected entrants may be contacted by social media direct message, email, phone, text message, or another contact method provided or available through the entry process.

​

Selected entrants must respond within the time period stated in the contest announcement or winner notification. If no time period is stated, the selected entrant must respond within twenty-four (24) hours of notification.

​

If a selected entrant does not respond within the required time, cannot be contacted, fails to meet eligibility requirements, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, refuses the prize, fails to complete required documents, or otherwise fails to comply with these rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate entrant may be selected.

​

Forrest Jones Entertainment is not responsible for failed, delayed, misdirected, filtered, blocked, or undeliverable messages, emails, calls, or notifications.

​

10. PRIZES

The prize or prizes for each contest will be described in the applicable contest announcement.

​

Prizes may include, but are not limited to, event tickets, concert tickets, theatre tickets, promotional merchandise, gift cards, experiences, or other items.

​

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable, refundable, exchangeable, assignable, or redeemable for cash unless expressly stated by Forrest Jones Entertainment.

​

Forrest Jones Entertainment reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute any prize or portion of a prize with another prize of equal or greater approximate retail value.

​

Any and all costs, expenses, taxes, transportation, parking, accommodation, meals, gratuities, insurance, service charges, upgrades, or other expenses not expressly included in the prize description are the sole responsibility of the winner.

​

Where a prize includes tickets to an event, the winner and guest are responsible for complying with all venue rules, ticket terms, entry requirements, security procedures, age restrictions, health and safety requirements, and conduct expectations.

​

Tickets may be subject to cancellation, postponement, rescheduling, relocation, substitution, or other changes outside the control of Forrest Jones Entertainment. Forrest Jones Entertainment is not responsible if an event is delayed, postponed, cancelled, modified, or rescheduled for any reason.

​

If an event is cancelled, postponed, or otherwise unavailable, Forrest Jones Entertainment’s sole obligation, if any, will be limited to what is made available by the venue, promoter, ticketing provider, artist, performer, or prize supplier.

​

No compensation will be provided for unused, lost, stolen, expired, damaged, or forfeited prizes.

 

11. GUESTS

If a prize includes admission or tickets for a guest, the guest must comply with all applicable rules and may be required to sign a release before participating or attending.

​

The winner is responsible for the conduct of their guest.

​

Forrest Jones Entertainment reserves the right to refuse, revoke, or withdraw a prize or event admission if the winner or guest behaves in a disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, abusive, intoxicated, threatening, or inappropriate manner, or violates venue, ticketing, or event rules.

12. ACCEPTANCE OF PRIZE AND PUBLICITY RELEASE

By accepting a prize, the winner consents to the use of their name, city/town of residence, image, likeness, voice, statements, comments, social media handle, submitted content, photograph, and/or video for advertising, publicity, promotional, and marketing purposes by Forrest Jones Entertainment, Inc. without further notice, payment, compensation, approval, or consideration, unless prohibited by law.

​

This may include use on websites, social media, email marketing, print materials, media releases, advertising, and other promotional channels.

​

13. RELEASE FORMS

Before being confirmed as a winner, a selected entrant may be required to sign and return an eligibility declaration, liability release, publicity release, guest release, or any other document reasonably required by Forrest Jones Entertainment.

​

Failure to complete, sign, and return required documents within the time specified may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.

​

14. CONDUCT

All entrants agree to participate in good faith and comply with these rules.

​

Forrest Jones Entertainment reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who:

• Violates these rules;

• Provides false, misleading, or incomplete information;

• Attempts to tamper with or manipulate the entry process;

• Uses multiple identities, fake accounts, automated entries, or fraudulent methods;

• Harasses, abuses, threatens, or defames Forrest Jones Entertainment, its representatives, partners, performers, venues, other entrants, or the public;

• Posts offensive, hateful, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, violent, unlawful, or inappropriate content;

• Violates any social media platform’s terms of service;

• Acts in a manner that damages or may damage the reputation of Forrest Jones Entertainment or the integrity of the contest.

 

Forrest Jones Entertainment reserves the right to remove, hide, delete, report, or disqualify any entry or comment that it considers inappropriate, offensive, unlawful, or inconsistent with the spirit of the contest.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering a contest, entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless Forrest Jones Entertainment, Inc., its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, affiliates, sponsors, promotional partners, venues, performers, artists, ticketing providers, prize suppliers, advertising agencies, administrators, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, injuries, liabilities, costs, expenses, or causes of action arising out of or relating to:

• Participation in the contest;

• Entry or attempted entry into the contest;

• Acceptance, possession, use, misuse, loss, or inability to use a prize;

• Attendance at or travel to/from any event connected with a prize;

• Event cancellation, postponement, rescheduling, substitution, relocation, or modification;

• Technical failures, platform outages, account suspensions, communication errors, or internet issues;

• Lost, late, delayed, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, illegible, or undeliverable entries;

• Human error, administrative error, printing error, typographical error, or technical error;

• Unauthorized access, tampering, hacking, fraud, or interference with the contest;

• Any breach or alleged breach of privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights;

• Any act or omission of a third-party platform, venue, artist, performer, ticketing provider, delivery provider, prize supplier, or promotional partner.

 

Forrest Jones Entertainment makes no warranties, representations, or guarantees regarding any prize, event, venue, performer, ticket, product, or service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Forrest Jones Entertainment will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, special, or exemplary damages.

​

16. TECHNICAL ISSUES AND CONTEST ADMINISTRATION

Forrest Jones Entertainment is not responsible for any technical, network, electronic, computer, hardware, software, internet, platform, website, telephone, email, server, social media, or communication failures of any kind.

​

If, for any reason, a contest cannot run as planned, including due to technical failures, unauthorized intervention, fraud, tampering, bugs, viruses, platform changes, legal restrictions, event cancellation, force majeure, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Forrest Jones Entertainment, Forrest Jones Entertainment reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, suspend, extend, or restart the contest, in whole or in part, at its sole discretion.

Forrest Jones Entertainment also reserves the right to correct any typographical, printing, administrative, prize-description, date, timing, eligibility, or other error at any time.

​

17. FORCE MAJEURE

Forrest Jones Entertainment will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these rules due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, severe weather, fire, flood, pandemic, epidemic, public health restrictions, labour disputes, strikes, lockouts, government orders, venue closures, performer illness, transportation disruptions, security threats, war, terrorism, civil unrest, technical failures, platform outages, or event cancellation.

18. PRIVACY

Information collected from entrants will be used by Forrest Jones Entertainment for the purpose of administering the contest, contacting selected entrants, confirming eligibility, awarding prizes, complying with legal requirements, and, where consent has been provided, communicating future promotions, events, news, offers, or marketing materials.

​

Forrest Jones Entertainment will not sell entrant information.

​

Personal information may be shared with third parties only as reasonably required to administer the contest, award the prize, comply with legal obligations, protect legal rights, or as otherwise permitted by law.

​

By entering a contest, entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes described in these rules.

Use of any social media platform is subject to that platform’s own privacy policy and terms of service.

​

19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND USER CONTENT

If a contest requires entrants to submit photos, videos, captions, comments, stories, testimonials, or other content, entrants confirm that their submission is original, that they have all necessary rights and permissions to submit it, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

By submitting content, entrants grant Forrest Jones Entertainment a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, publish, display, edit, adapt, modify, share, distribute, and promote the submitted content for contest, advertising, publicity, and marketing purposes, without further compensation.

​

Forrest Jones Entertainment is not required to use, return, acknowledge, or preserve any submitted content.

​

20. DISPUTES

All decisions of Forrest Jones Entertainment regarding eligibility, entries, winner selection, prize awards, interpretation of these rules, and all other contest matters are final and binding.

​

In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the entry may be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address, phone number, or social media account used to enter, as determined by Forrest Jones Entertainment in its sole discretion.

Forrest Jones Entertainment reserves the right to require proof of identity, account ownership, age, residency, and eligibility.

21. GOVERNING LAW

All contests are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

​

By entering, entrants agree that any disputes relating to a contest will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario, Canada, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

​

22. GENERAL TERMS

Forrest Jones Entertainment reserves the right to cancel, suspend, amend, modify, extend, or terminate any contest at any time without prior notice, subject to applicable law.

​

Forrest Jones Entertainment reserves the right to amend these Official Contest Rules at any time.

​

If any provision of these rules is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

​

These Official Contest Rules, together with any contest-specific instructions, form the complete rules governing the applicable contest.

In the event of any conflict between these Official Contest Rules and contest-specific instructions, the contest-specific instructions will apply only to the extent of the conflict.

​

For each individual contest, Forrest Jones Entertainment may publish additional details, including:

• Contest name;

• Contest period;

• Entry method;

• Eligibility requirements;

• Prize description;

• Approximate retail value of prize;

• Number of winners;

• Winner selection date;

• Winner notification method;

• Deadline to claim prize;

• Any event-specific, venue-specific, age-specific, or ticket-specific conditions.

 

Entrants are responsible for reviewing both these Official Contest Rules and the contest-specific details before entering.
